TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

These terms cover the terms of which Clarity Ear Wax Removal provide ear wax removal services to you

Please read these terms carefully before you make an appointment with us. These terms outline who we are, how we provide services to you, how we may or may not end a contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information.

Clarity Ear Wax Removal is run by Joanne Hudson RGN, RMN, SPCPH,NMP and is registered with the Nurse and Midwifery Council. All practitioners have been trained and regularly update in ear wax removal techniques.

If we have to contact you we will do so by telephone or writing to the email address you provided to us.

Our Contract with you.

Once you have contacted our service we will contact you by telephone to discuss your requirements and which treatment may be more appropriate for your needs. It is entirely at your discretion as to whether you seek to make an appointment.

At point of contact we may decide that it may not be appropriate for us to supply ear wax removal services. This will be decided following a short telephone triage assessment.

We reserve the right not to supply ear wax removal treatment in any of the following circumstance

  • If in our reasonable opinion there is no build up of ear wax which necessitates ear wax removal treatment
  • If in our reasonable opinion there is a referable condition (such as a severe infection) in which case, you will be advised to make an appointment with your GP
  • If in our reasonable opinion it is unsafe or inappropriate to provide you with ear wax removal for any other reason

Further Treatment may be necessary

We can never guarantee that one appointment will fully resolve your problem. We may recommend that further appointment (s)/treatment is advisable, in which case we will advise you of any additional charges for such appointment(s)

Your rights to make changes

If you wish to make a change to your appointment, please contact us. We will let you know if the change is possible. If it is possible that we can accommodate your request we will let you know about any changes to price, the timing or anything else which would be necessary as a result of your requested change and ask you confirm whether you wish to go ahead. If we cannot make the change or the consequences of making the change are unacceptable to you, you make end the contract.

Providing the service

  • One off service. We will provide the service on the date and at the time of your appointment

We are not responsible for delays outside of our control. In the event of a delay outside our control we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay.

Our service is totally mobile and if you are not in/or unable to let us into your home we will advise you of our attendance, however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to reschedule your appointment.

Treatment must be paid in full at the time of your appointment. Ways to pay will be advised at the time of booking your appointment.

Summary of your legal rights

  • You can ask us to repeat or correct any treatment which is not carried out with reasonable skill, however if we believe that it is outside of our professional scope of practice or will be detrimental to your health we have the right to refuse.

Problems can be caused by treatment for earwax.

Whilst earwax removal is generally safe, occasionally problems can arise immediately or within a few days of the earwax removal. Following your treatment, you will be provided with a leaflet which outlines your responsibilities for after care and highlight any post treatment effects.
